Research Field / Direction

New Products Development

  • Develop and provide special steel ingots and slab for the forging market . To develop the special steel forging market, develop special steels specifically for the forging market such as general steel 303, 316L or special steel SKD11, SUM43, 630..., provide ingots and steel slab for forging, and create an operating niche for products in the forging market.
  • For the increase the special steel market, it cooperates with major technological manufacturers to develop special steel grades and heighten the company's competition in the global strategic market. Continuously develop materials with high temperature resistance, high strength and high corrosion resistance, such as Alloy 800H (UNS N08810)、Alloy A286 (UNS S66286)、Alloy 825 (UNS N08825) and special steel 630, 631, 321,2205... and the cold-rolled annealing pickling process of titanium coils. After the accumulation and progress of technological of R&D, it create considerable benefits for TANG ENG IRON WORKS.
  • Coined and embossed finishes, stainless steel development. Cooperate with customers to continuously develop new coined and embossed finishes, master customized order requirements and adjust production process to meet customers mechanical specifications, increase the high value added of stainless steel coils, and create high value added product advantages.
  • Committed to the development of food grade medical materials antibacterial stainless steel TE-304D and TE-316D, which can be fully applied and have both antibacterial and corrosion resistance, advanced materials that contribute to society and greatly improve human food safety and medical infection prevention.
  • TANG ENG IRON WORKS meets the needs of designers and users, when it is used by customers, to expand the thickness of the steel plate. Actively invest in the production and manufacturing of the thick plate market.

New Process Development

  • The development of special steel ingot manufacturing process, through the bottom-pouring processes, control the casting powder input time, and controlling the casting speed of the ingot casting molten liquid level, can reduce the non-metallic inclusion and improve the surface quality of the ingot, providing high-quality ingots.
  • The development of the new antibacterial regeneration process of antibacterial stainless steel TE-304D and TE-316D. The antibacterial layer is produced by the chemical reaction, and it is newly developed to regenerate the antibacterial layer by the heat treatment process of the assembly line. It can increase stability of the antibacterial ability.
  • In order to meet the different needs of customers, we develop the embossed surface process. We will continue to develop new coined and embossed finishes with customers to meet the customer's refined coined and embossed finishes requirements.
  • Develop hot slab transportation technology, in order to ensure that the special steel such as 630 ,410, 420 with high Ms temperature during transportation, the cooling rate of the slab is kept within the control range, develop and transport steel slab insulation vehicles, established the ability of TANG ENG IRON WORKS to develop special steel coils in the future.
