Methods to Identify Stakeholders
This time, the company's stakeholders involved in the preparation of the report conducted a review and discussion of the 2023 identification results. By referencing commonly identified stakeholders in peer companies' reports and holding internal meetings with department heads, a preliminary list of potential stakeholders was compiled.
At the same time, the company also identified the stakeholder categories listed in the GRI standards, including: shareholders, banking institutions, government organizations, employees, customers, business partners, suppliers, communities/local groups, non-governmental organizations, social welfare organizations, as well as academic and industry-academia collaboration units.
Finally, through discussions and confirmation by external experts and company department heads, stakeholders closely related to the company's operational activities were selected. It was confirmed that Tang Eng Company's stakeholders for 2024 include eight major categories: shareholders, government agencies, employees, customers, suppliers/contractors, local community residents, certification bodies, and banks.
