Contractor Management

The Company has established Contractor Management Rules, which list necessary documents when signing procurement contracts or agreements with manufacturers. The management rules clearly require manufacturers to abide by relevant government laws and regulations to hire labor workers. The aforementioned laws include the Labor Standards Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act and its implementation rules and other relevant regulations.

The Company attaches great importance to the safety and health management of contractors, so it uses a strategy of guidance, inspection, and publicity to strengthen the labor safety and health awareness of contractors. In terms of engineering and labor procurement, those who are listed as rejected by the competent authorities due to violations of relevant domestic laws and regulations will not be allowed to become contractors of Tang Eng Company. The selection of contractors is based on the Company's procurement regulations. In addition to the relevant regulations, contractors are also required to purchase named group accident insurance or employer compensation contract liability insurance equal to or exceeding NT$5 million.
