Our company's main products, stainless steel, has the characteristics of anti-oxidation, heat, acid, and alkali resistance, antibacterial. The metallic luster can be sustained for a long time with much longer service life than that of carbon steel. Stainless steel tailings or scraps can be recycled as the raw materials for steel making. Our products are indeed energy saving and waste reducing green products.
In 2024, more than 70% of the raw materials used by the Company are recyclable waste materials. All products are stainless steel coils. Because stainless steel has repetitive characteristics, recycling features in the green circular economy. Stainless steel coils are cut and stamped by downstream customers to become stainless steel products. When the products are used to a certain extent, they must be scrapped. The discarded stainless steel is recycled through the resource recovery system, and then sold back to steel as stainless steel waste. It is used as the main raw material for electric furnace smelting in steel mills. Furnace slag iron, slab head and tail materials, hot and cold rolling process waste produced in steelmaking are also directly returned to the electric furnace for smelting. Product packaging materials (such as steel belts, steel buckles, backing paper, etc.) can be recycled and reused.
Therefore, we have established an ISO 9001 management system, formulated standards for acceptance of carbon steel scraps, mixed stainless steel scraps, furnace melting tests, increased domestic stainless steel scrap purchases and scrap usage ratios according to monthly production and sales plans. A scrap receiving yard, refinement of the smelting production process to increase the recovery rate of raw metals and other measures to reduce raw material and energy consumption all reduce the impact on the natural environment. In order to reduce the impact on the environment during product manufacturing and use, Tang Eng will continue to improve the development of green products and manufacturing processes, and fulfill his responsibility for the sustainable development of the environment.
Improve the control ability of steel coil width processing and the precision of steel plate rolling thickness, reduce the variation of whole coil width and the thinness of plate edge, effectively reduce the loss of trimming waste of downstream customers, and effectively utilize stainless steel plates.
The company directly purchases stainless steel waste materials processed by downstream customers, and then returns them to the furnace to be processed into stainless steel products.
Keep on developing and producing antibacterial stainless steel products, which are widely used in tableware, sanitary ware, medical treatment and plant factories, etc.
Plan to install solar photovoltaic on the roofs of factories and buildings.
The Company is a consistent steel mill, and more than 90% of the main raw materials in the process are stainless steel scrap (mainly 300 series and 400 series), scrap steel, ferronickel and ferrochrome, and some of the waste in the process is recycled by self-production. The consumption of various raw materials in 2024 was 17,039.964 metric tons of stainless steel scrap, 1572.460 metric tons of steel scrap, 6,563200 metric tons of ferronickel, and 1,974.340 metric tons of ferrochrome. The self-produced waste is returned to the electric furnace for re-melting and use, in order to achieve the principle of a circular economy. A total of 9,491.452 metric tons of waste was reused in the 2024 manufacturing process, accounting for 32.24% of the overall steelmaking output. In addition, stainless steel scrap and steel scrap were purchased domestically, while ferronickel and ferrochrome had to be purchased abroad. In order to respond to resource recycling, Tang Eng Company recycles waste materials in the process (including steel slab grinding chips, flame-cut heads and tails, furnace slag iron, hot-rolled scrap, cold-rolled scrap, etc.) into electric furnaces for recycling. The waste in the Company's manufacturing process is mainly self-produced and used to achieve the principle of a circular economy.

The raw materials currently used by Tang Eng Company are recyclable raw materials (recycled raw materials) and non-recyclable raw materials (non-recycled raw materials). Recycled raw materials: Waste stainless steel (including 300 series,400 series), scrap carbon steel (carbon-containing steel cooling material, steel belt recycled in the factory), process recycled materials (cold and hot rolling strips, steel slab grinding shavings, steel slab head and tail). Non-recycled raw materials (non-recycled raw materials): pure nickel, ferronickel and ferrochromium. The following are the main raw materials used by the Company in 2024:

A total of 217.680 metric tons of steel strips used in the finished steel coils of the Company were recycled in 2024, accounting for 0.74% of the overall steelmaking output.
The refractory bricks used in the converters and ladles of our company's steelmaking plants are all dolomite bricks. Because the main components of dolomite bricks are calcium oxide and magnesium oxide, and due to the high pH value, they are not suitable for slag and waste refractory materials after coming off the machine. In order to respond to resource recycling, treatment includes the steelmaking plant placing the dolomite bricks off the machine into the electric furnace for smelting in batches, in addition to replacing part of the lime consumption and protecting the wall bricks of the electric furnace, and forming stable oxide slag. In 2024, a total of 165.32 metric tons of machine-made dolomite bricks was recycled and reused.
